PROFILE
I have practiced law, concentrating in real estate and real estate land development, zoning, drafting agreements of sale, mortgages, leases, financing documents, negotiating purchases and sales of commercial, residential and industrial properties for my clients, and construction litigation FROM 1969 to the present.
EXPERIENCE

As an attorney in the practice of law, I have concentrated in real estate matters as well as litigation involving most areas of real estate, including: zoning, land development, purchase and sale of real estate. Drafted documents and represented parties in leasing virtually all types of real estate including: residential transactions, commercial and industrial sales and purchases, financing arrangements of all types. Litigation including: zoning appeals, construction litigation, arbitrations, tax assessment appeals, in Montgomery County Court, Philadelphia County Court, Bucks County Court, and Chester, Delaware, Northampton County Courts. Appeals have been taken to the following Courts: Commonwealth Court, Superior Court, Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Federal US District Court-Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Third Circuit Court of Appeals and US Supreme Court. I am admitted to all these Courts and have a Certificate of Good Standing from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. As counsel for Buyers, Sellers, Builders and Developers, I have handled hundreds of individual transactions from negotiating the agreements, financing, leases and all phases of the real estate business. I have represented Brokers and Real Estate Companies in numerous matters, including: claims by customers against such firms; contractual matters with Salespersons and Associate Brokers; and, forming of partnerships and dissolution of various agencies. I have prepared all documents for financing and leasing of all the properties I have represented clients for over these 44 years in the practice of law in Pennsylvania.
I am a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, NMLS#347121 for both the SAFE (Federal) and PA State requirements and have completed 26 hours of study for that license in 9/2010 and the additional 8 continuing education hours in 2011 for licensing requirements for renewal in 2012, 2013 & 2014.
Completed at least 12 hours of Continuing Legal Education each of the past years in order to practice and be licensed as a Pennsylvania lawyer.

As an associate of a 4 attorney firm, I obtained broad experience in handling real estate transactions and estate practice.
Lecturer, Instructor & Assistant Professor, Drexel University and Philadelphia University — 1968-1973
While in law school, Peter Liacouras, my Professor of Law at Temple University Law School, asked me to teach business law at Drexel University, his and my undergraduate university. I started as a lecturer, and upon graduation from law school in 1969, was offered a position as an Instructor of Business Law in the Business College at Drexel University (then Drexel Institute of Technology). I taught real estate law, contract law, Constitutional law, sales, insurance law, government and business law, as well as an ethics course involving social forces and the law. In 1971 I was appointed Assistant Professor of Business Law at Philadelphia University (formerly Philadelphia Textile), where I taught the same general courses, while starting my own practice in Glenside, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Presently practice law in Blue Bell, Montgomery County.

Upon attaining the age of 18, I obtained my real estate salesman’s license in Pennsylvania as well as my life insurance sales license.
